Power Transformers

Oil-immersed and dry-type transformers

Oil-immersed Power Transformer 10MVA 35kV

Engineered for Grid Reliability

Transformers are the critical link between power generation and distribution. Our transformer lineup covers the full spectrum from 100kVA distribution units to 50MVA power transformers, each designed for specific application requirements.

Oil-Immersed Transformers

Oil-immersed transformers offer superior cooling efficiency and are ideal for outdoor installations. Our OFW series achieves ONAN/ONAF cooling configurations with temperature rise ≤55K, ensuring reliable operation in ambient temperatures up to 45°C.

  • Capacity: 100kVA to 50MVA
  • Primary Voltage: 6kV, 10kV, 35kV, 66kV, 110kV
  • Secondary Voltage: 400V, 690V, 10kV, 35kV
  • Impedance: Customizable 4-12%
  • Efficiency: ≥99% at rated load

Dry-Type Transformers

For indoor applications where fire safety is paramount, our cast-resin dry-type transformers offer Class F/H insulation with zero fire risk. Ideal for hospitals, high-rise buildings, and underground installations.

Why Transformer Selection Matters

  • Impedance: Affects fault current and voltage regulation. Higher impedance limits fault current but increases voltage drop.
  • Cooling Method: ONAN for normal loads, ONAF for overload capability. Choose based on load profile.
  • Altitude Derating: Above 1000m, cooling efficiency drops. We custom-design for high-altitude installations.

Medium Voltage Switchgear

Arc-resistant, IEC compliant distribution

Medium Voltage Switchgear 40.5kV Arc-Resistant

Safety-Critical Power Distribution

Switchgear is the control center of any power distribution system. Our medium voltage switchgear is engineered for arc flash protection, operator safety, and reliable operation under fault conditions.

Arc-Resistant Design (Type 2B)

Our switchgear meets IEC 62271-200 Type 2B arc-resistance classification, meaning arc gases are safely vented away from personnel through dedicated ducts. This is critical for facilities where operators work near energized equipment.

  • Voltage Rating: Up to 40.5kV
  • Interrupting Rating: 25kA, 31.5kA, 40kA options
  • Insulation: Air (AIS) or Vacuum (VCB) - SF6-free options available
  • Protection: Numerical relays with IEC 61850 communication
  • Enclosure: IP54 protection standard, IP65 optional

Vacuum Circuit Breakers vs SF6

Our switchgear uses vacuum interrupter technology (VCB) instead of SF6 gas. VCBs are maintenance-free, environmentally inert, and face no regulatory restrictions. SF6 has a global warming potential 23,500x that of CO2.

Microgrid Integration

Modern 10kmv+ microgrids combine multiple power sources—utility, generators, and battery storage. Each source contributes different fault current levels.

  • Utility: 10kA+ fault current, instant response
  • Generators: 3-6x rated current, slower response
  • BESS: 2-3x rated, electronic control

Switchgear must be rated for the maximum combined fault current from all parallel sources.
